What was wrong with our old decisions?\u00a0 Didn\u2019t yours all happen the way you decided?\u00a0 I know mine sure didn\u2019t.\u00a0 Not even close.\u00a0 The sudden changes in the market stood many predictions on their heads.\u00a0 An awful 1st<\/sup> quarter, a decent 2nd<\/sup> quarter and a mediocre 3rd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> quarter for us – we wound up 2013 closing 342 transactions.\u00a0 But congratulations are not in order \u2013 as that is down from our 435 closed transactions for 2012.\u00a0 Oddly enough, our annual sales volume ($63,973,603.) didn\u2019t suffer, in fact it was up by almost a million dollars \u2013 due to prices being higher than in 2012.<\/p>\n So, HAPPY NEW YEAR!<\/p>\n We hope it is happy.<\/p>\n Happy = Fun!<\/p>\n Happy = It went like we wanted and planned.<\/p>\n For the record I am planning on doubling the amount of business in 2014 we did in 2013.\u00a0 I am no longer trying to figure out HOW to generate buyer sides, thanks to finally having that crazy making issue resolved thanks to my Real Estate Webmasters site (www.allphoenixareahomes.com<\/a>).\u00a0 So we have added 2 buyer agents (for a total of 6) and hitting 200 closed buyer deals in 2014 is no longer a pipe dream.\u00a0 That now solved \u2013 along with the market shift back to \u201ctraditional sellers\u201d, we can once again make lead generation for sellers our primary focus and have our (considerable) marketing dollars have a huge impact (regardless of the now numerous local copycats).\u00a0 The new radio ad is done.\u00a0 The new TV ad will be done early this month.\u00a0 Our staff is fully groomed to provide an even higher quality level of service so the experience our clients have will create more raving fans.<\/p>\n Some of you felt battered in 2013.\u00a0 I did too.\u00a0 It is just part of the deal.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t ever want to get hit, don\u2019t get in the ring.\u00a0 This is going to be a GREAT year.\u00a0 Won\u2019t you join me?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Earth made the full trip around the sun.\u00a0 365 revolutions of the earth.\u00a0 And we are supposed to \u201cmake new decisions\u201d about the time it will take for the earth\u2019s next full trip around?
